Abstract

|
Fusobacterium animalis (formerly Fusobacterium nucleatumsubsp. animalis) is a Gram-negative, anaerobic, and filamentshapedbacterium. F. animalis may be a part of normal flora anda periodontopathogen of human oral cavity. F. animalis KCOM1280 (= ChDC F318) was isolated from a human periodontitislesion. In this report, we present the draft genome sequence ofF. animalis KCOM 1280.
